SACHAHUARES AS A LODGE
During your stay in the lodge of Sachahuares, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the tranquility and peace of nature. You are free to take the fruits like papaya, mango, lemon, masasamba and others right from the tree. You can observe toucans, parrots, manacaracos, pustis and other wild animals on the grounds of the lodge. You can also take walks in the region or choose from the activities that Sachahuares offers you.

You can come with your own transport or public transport to the lodge of Sachahuares to enjoy the beauty of our nature and to experiment the life in an ecological farm. You can also choose between various activities of one or more days.
To get to Sachahuares from Cusco:
1. Bus Cusco-Quillabamba: You will take the bus at the terminal of Quillabamba (Avenida Antonio Lorena) which is not the same as the “terminal terrestre” of Cusco. To get easy to this terminal, you take a taxi and ask the driver for “el paradero de Quillabamba”. The price of the ticket varies but normally lies between 20 and 30 soles.
2. Combi Quillabamba-Quello uno (transportes Puma)
Bus, combi or car Quillabamba-Palma Real-Kiteni
Quillabamba-Chahuares
3. Get off your transport in Chahuares: The farm of Sachahuares is located before the town of Chahuares. Ask the driver to get off at “la chacra de Marmanillo”. There is a sign at the side of the road with Sachahuares that indicates where to get of. The price of the trip varies but normally lies between 4-5 soles. The trip from Quillabamba to Chahuares takes about one hour and a half.
4. From the road, you follow the path upwards (about 10 minutes walk) to get to the lodge.
ATENTION! There is not a lot of transport after 5 pm or on Sundays from Quillabamba to Chahuares.
